This is a hidden gem of a shop - very small and tucked away down a ginnel in the centre of Kendal. Inside there's not much room for more than a counter and then it's nearly all shelves crammed with products with just about space for shoppers to browse in single file.
The range however is amazing and you will find lots of useful things here. I like to buy Kingfisher toothpastes and Faith in Nature shampoos, neither of which are easy to find in the big supermarkets - here both are always in stock. The lady behind the counter is always very polite and helpful as well. Prices here aren't exactly cheap - but you really can't have everything.
